Diving

Around Bali are many beautiful diving spots, but one of the best is situated in the northeast, near the Agung vulcano. When you make a dive here, stunning coral reefs and a colorful underwater world are waiting for you. Very impressive is the sunken USS Liberty. This ship, that went down during World War 2, is a great diving location. Around this diving area, waters are calm throughout the year, therefor it's also a good spot for beginners. Are you up for a unique experience? Make a dive at night! The sea transforms into this slightly mysterious world. When you don't like diving that much, you can also go snorkling. There is a lot to discover!

Surfing

Mainly the west coast of south Bali is popular among surfers. One of the most well-known surf spots is Uluwatu. This place is especially suitable for professionals, because you have to paddle through a cave to get to the sea. Other beautiful surf places are Padang Padang, Balangan, Seminyak Beach and Bingin Beach. At Kuta Reef you have to take a boat to get to the reefs, about 800 meters off the coast. The waves here are a little less strong, but nonetheless worth your while! Do you want to learn how to surf? All you have to do is walk to the beach of Kuta. Before you know, you are learning the tricks of surfing!

Dining

Delicious food on Bali is one of the highlights to your trip. Traditional Balinese food is served on a banana leaf, mostly with rice, fish, meat and eggs. Enjoy this extensive cuisine with great herbs and spices, where you can make it extra spicy with some sambal! A typical Balinese dish is rendang; slowly cooked beef in coconut milk with added herbs and spices as galangal and turmeric. Put together with nasi putih (steamed rice) and you’ll taste true Bali!
